May 21, 2015: Superman Celebration Announces Auction and Performance by Comedian Scott Long

The Superman Celebration Committee is proud to announce the addition of the "Save The Massac Benefit Auction" and comedian Scott Long to this year's ever increasing line-up of festivities.
Long - who has toured the country non-stop for 2 decades, performing in 40 different states - will be performing his latest show "Good Dad...Not a Great Dad" which features a hilariously edgy, but sometimes poignant exploration of having twins at 40 years old.
The performance will take place on Saturday, June 13th at the Baymont Theatre prior to the "Save The Massac Benefit Auction" which will feature Superman, Superhero & Villain, and other comic collectables and treasures.
Tickets to the Scott Long comedy show are $20 each and include admission to the auction. Auction only tickets are also available for $10 each. A cash bar will be available during both the comedy show and auction while hors d'oeuvres will be served during the auction only.
All proceeds from the auction will go to benefit the historic Massac Theatre located in downtown Metropolis, IL and it's restoration. Doors will open at 7PM. Scott Long takes the stage at 7:30PM. Auction will begin approximately at 9PM.
