May 9, 2015: "Superman: The Movie" Screening in Greensboro, NC

The Carolina Theatre in Greensboro, NC will host a special screening of the 1978 superhero classic, "Superman: The Movie" on Tuesday, July 21st at 7:00pm as part of their Summer Film Festival.

Just before the destruction of the planet Krypton, scientist Jor-El (Marlon Brando) sends his infant son Kal-El on a spaceship to Earth. Raised by kindly farmers, The Kents, young Clark (Christopher Reeve) discovers the source of his superhuman powers and moves to Metropolis to fight evil. As Superman, he battles the villainous Lex Luthor (Gene Hackman), while, as novice reporter Clark Kent, he attempts to woo co-worker Lois Lane (Margot Kidder).

Tickets are $7 for adults; $6 for students, seniors, military & groups of 10 or more. Prices include NC sales tax. Doors open 45 minutes before movie time.
