April 28, 2017: Henry Cavill Honors Fellow Comic Book Stars for National Superhero Day

by Neil Cole

Henry Cavill may be hard at work on the set of "Mission Impossible 6" but that didn't stop the Superman actor from taking a moment out of his busy schedule to celebrate National Superhero Day.

In the following Instagram post, Cavill sports the iconic Superman shield in recognition of the holiday while honoring all the actors associated with the extensive list of films from both the DC Extended Universe and Marvel Cinematic Universe alike:

Fly your colours today brothers and sisters. Its National Superhero day! I personally just want to thank all of you guys and gals for keeping us so entertained and setting such a fantastic example for superhero fans, young and old, around the world. @PrattPrattPratt @Gal_Gadot @vancityreynolds @ChrisHemsworth @BenAffleck @RobertDowneyJr @MarkRuffalo @PrideOfGypsies @Rehsifyar @TheHughJackman @MargotRobbie @JoelKinnaman @ZoeSaldana @DaveBautista @VinDiesel @paulbettany @renner4real @samuelljackson @aarontaylorjohnson @officiallyelizabetholsen @nicholashoult @jamesmcavoyrealdeal @booboodaddy @sophiet @kodismitmcpheeofficial @alexandrashipppp @brielarson @tomholland2013 @imsebastianstan @chadwickboseman #DonCheadle #PaulRudd #AnthonyMackie #ChrisEvans #BradleyCooper #EzraMiller #ScarlettJohansson #SuperheroDay #TyeSheridan #BenedictCumberbatch #WillSmith
