April 14, 2015: Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Presents "A Tribute to John Williams"

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra will present "A Tribute John Williams" on Thursday, May 28th at The Music Center at Strathmore in Rockville, MD and Friday, May 29th - Sunday, May 31st at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, MD.

The concert will be led by Conductor Jack Everly and feature the most popular and recognizable film scores in cinematic history including music from Superman, Home Alone, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter, Schindler's List, Star Wars, Saving Private Ryan and E.T.

Williams is one of America's most prolific composers. He has won five Oscars in a career that began as an additional orchestrator for "Carousel" in 1956. Williams is currently writing the theme music for "Jurassic World," due out in 2015.
