March 10, 2016: MAD Magazine Presents "Superman and the Miserable, Rotten, No Fun, Really Bad Day"

by Neil Cole

MAD Magazine has announced the upcoming release an all-new hardcover parody of the Man of Steel entitled "Superman and the Miserable, Rotten, No Fun, Really Bad Day" which is based on the 1972 children's classic "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Really Bad Day".

The book will be a collaboration between writer Dave Croatto and artist Tom Richmond who previously worked together on the similar MAD publication, "Goodnight Batcave" which released last year.

The announcement was released exclusively by Mashable who posted a few preview pages featuring such images as Superman accidentally putting his costume on inside-out and being bummed that he can't go for a ride in Wonder Woman's Invisible Jet.

"Superman and the Miserable, Rotten, No Fun, Really Bad Day" is scheduled be released at retailers nationwide this October.
