January 31, 2015: Colorado Symphony to Showcase the Music of John Williams
The Colorado Symphony and the Denver Young Artists Orchestra will come to life on Sunday, February 8th in a program featuring composer Gregory Smith's newest work, "The Animated Orchestra."
This exciting program features a narrator and engages the audience in a playful cartoon storyline. The concert will also highlight the extraordinary talent of the DYAO and will delight audiences of all ages.
Music for the afternoon will feature several film scores by John Williams including themes from "Superman: The Movie," "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "Jurassic Park," and "Schindler's List."
The concert will take place at 1PM at the Boettcher Concert Hall in Denver, Colorado. Tickets are $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for ages under 18.
