January 20, 2017: Central City to Appear in "Justice League"

Posted by Neil Cole

A new photo from the set of "Justice League" confirms that Central City, the comic book home of Barry Allen/Flash in the comics, will be featured in the film.

The photo was posted on the British Society of Cinematographers Facebook page and features Justice League director of photography, Fabian Wagner, with a highway sign in the background which reads "Central City: City Limit":

How much of Central City fans will see in the film remains to be seen but, in the first "Justice League" trailer, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) pays a surprise visit to the home of Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) to persuade him to join the team. With the new Central City sign reveal, it's a given that this is where the two superheroes first meet.

"Justice League" opens nationwide in theaters on November 17th. A solo "Flash" movie is scheduled to premiere a few months later on March 16th, 2018.
